Activision releases Modern Warfare 2 demo.

Activision decided today to release a Modern Warfare 2 demo on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.

Despite being out-of-the-blue the single-player demo is quite cool as it occurs on the "Cliffhanger" level. The level is one of the better Modern Warfare 2 campaign levels and features an icy firefight and an amazing snowmobile chase scene.

It may seem pointless and late to release a demo for such a hit game but do keep in mind the recent release of Kinect and that Activision may be trying to reel in a pool of potential new gamers.

Sony releases ModNation Racers demo.

As the title suggests, the long-awaited demo for the now rapidly popular game , ModNation Racers has finally been released. Both PSP and PS3 users will be able to experience the demo, that highlights the greatest features in the game.

The demo is a miracle for both prospective buyers and those strapped for cash. Buyers will be able to preview the features of the game and decide whether they should buy it, which I recommend. And due to the variety of features in the demo even those without cash to buy the fullgame will be able to enjoy for a very long time. (Similar to the TimeShift demo that though lacking the story mode allows unlimited access to the multiplayer capabilities.)

PSP and PS3 users can download the demo from the online PlayStation Store.
